Vinny Vanucchi's Group / Family Style Menu

To cater larger parties at Vinny Vanucchi’s we have selected five great family style menus. All of these entrees are served with baskets of Vinny’s piping hot garlic bread and our famous house salad tossed in our sweet Italian vinegar dressing and topped with freshly shredded parmesan cheese. Our reservation policy on weekends requires all large parties to be seated at 8:30pm or later. We do have more flexibility on weekdays.

Our family style Italian menus are a variety of entrees served on large platters and passed around the table. This has proven to be very enjoyable for our guests as they get to experience a variety of our most popular menu items. All entrees are served with bowls of penne pasta in our homemade marinara sauce. Our appetizer and dessert selection can be ordered individually or as combination platters. Below you have five family style menus. Please pick one menu and then choose three entrees.

VERY CHERRY CHEESECAKE
A twist on a traditional cherry cheesecake with the cherries baked right inside and then not only sits on top of a layer of graham cracker crust, but is dusted with one as well. Its claim to fame is that there are enough ingredients in one slice to make a whole cake! Ouch!

End your visit to "Little Italy" with a sampling of our house favorites. We offer variety platters of Tiramisu, Cheesecake and other specialities in portions small enough to enjoy a few.

For parties of less than 15 please use our ONLINE RESERVATIONS.

Vinny's Policies

Please call 5 days in advance to let us know the final number of your party. Any party over 10 people will require a credit card to secure the reservation. A charge of $15 per person will be assessed to the credit card only if the reservation is not cancelled prior to the time confirmed.

All parties are charged for the confirmed number of reservations.

Children under eight are half price of the Dinner Menu.

We do have a full service Bar and an extensive Wine List.

All parties are subject to an Illinois sales tax of 6.75% and an 18% gratuity.

We do not guarantee any party will have the dining room exclusively except when it has been pre-arranged and the number of guests has been confirmed at the dining rooms capacity.

Family Style Food Descriptions

Baked Lasagna: Layers of pasta and cheeses with Italian sausage, topped with mozzarella cheese and served on a bed of marinara sauce.

Baked Manicotti: Rolled pasta filled with our ricotta cheese mixture, topped with mozzarella cheese, and served on a bed of marinara sauce.

Stuffed Shells Romano: Large pasta shells filled with our ricotta cheese mixture and topped with a fresh tomato basil cream sauce with mushrooms and tomatoes.

Chicken Marsala: A lightly floured boneless skinless chicken breast, sauteed in a Sweet Marsala wine sauce with
mushrooms and capers.

Chicken Parmigiano: A boneless skinless chicken breast lightly floured, cooked in olive oil, topped with parmesan and mozzarella cheese, and served on a bed of marinara sauce.

Chicken Picatta: A boneless skinless chicken breast cooked in a lemon, wine and garlic sauce with artichoke hearts and diced red peppers.

Fettuccine Alfredo: Fettuccine pasta topped with a traditional Italian white sauce made of heavy cream, parmesan cheese, and spices.

Fettuccine Di Mare: Fettuccine pasta in a rich cream sauce with shrimp, scallops, crabmeat and a variety of fresh vegetables.

Fettuccine Seafood: Fettuccine pasta in a rich cream sauce with shrimp, scallops, and crabmeat.

Fettucine Carbonara: Fettucine pasta in an alfredo sauce with prosciutto ham, mushrooms and peas.

Penne Italian Sausage: Tube pasta with spicy Italian sausage in a marinara sauce.

Penne Primavera: Tube pasta in a rich cream sauce with assorted vegetables.

Penne Meatballs: Tube pasta with Italian meatballs in a marinera sauce.

Pepper Steak Italiano: Sautéed in a gravy of bell peppers, onions, mushrooms, wine and garlic.

Pollo Compomare: A boneless skinless chicken breast sautéed with broccoli, mushrooms, and tomatoes in a rich cream sauce with wine, garlic and hot sauce, served over pasta.

Chicken Cacciatore: Chicken cooked in a tomato gravy of bell peppers, onions, peas, mushrooms, wine and garlic.

Ravioli Romano: Pasta pillows filled with ricotta cheese and topped with a light tomato basil cream sauce with fresh tomatoes and mushrooms.

Sausage Compomare: Spicy sausage topped with a rich zesty cream sauce of fresh mushrooms, broccoli and tomatoes.

Seafood Millennium: A combination of shrimp, scallops, crab, mussels, and littleneck clams in a rich white clam sauce over linguini pasta.

Steak Marsala: Sautéed in a sweet marsala wine sauce with fresh mushrooms and capers.

Tortellini Carbonara: Small pastas filled with cheese in an Alfredo sauce with prosciutto ham, mushrooms and peas.
